Hi, I’m Janessa!
I graduated from Marymount University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a passion for social impact. Since then, I have worked with various organizations to turn my passion into a career, producing multi-faceted camaigns, which directly address issues in education, public safety, and human rights. My exploration of these issues has led me to connect directly with the communities that experience them, using programs, events and digital outreach to offer solutions, which positively impact their day-to-day lives.
Whether organizing events which offer intervention services to the homeless, or writing blogs, which highlight the risk of human trafficking, I have collaborated directly with my respective organizations to use digital and traditional campaigns as a tool to initiate positive change. Moving forward, I would like to continue using marketing as a tool for community impact, developing content, campaigns, and outreach strategies to advance progressive social, cultural and economic narratives.
